Hatcheries, veterinarians and agronomists on FamFarm are independent businesses. They are not our employees, agents or partners, and we do not employ, supervise, endorse or guarantee them. Any professional credential, licence number or licensing body shown on an expert's profile is supplied by that expert. We may display verification status where we have carried out a check, but we do not warrant that any expert is currently licensed, insured or competent, and you remain responsible for satisfying yourself before you rely on them.
When you place an order — day-old chicks, hatching eggs, fingerlings, young livestock, seedlings or services — the contract is between you and that expert. FamFarm records the order, its agreed quantity, price, delivery date and status, and makes that record available to both sides. We are not a party to the transaction. We do not take payment for it, hold funds, guarantee delivery, quality, health, viability or fitness for purpose, and we are not responsible for refunds, replacements or disputes arising from it.
Sharing farm data with an expert is entirely your choice, is limited to the batches you select and the one expert you select, and can be withdrawn at any time. Withdrawal stops future access; it does not retrieve or undo what was seen while sharing was on. Financial data is never included in expert sharing. Once shared, that information is in the expert's hands and their own obligations apply to it.
Guidance you receive through FamFarm — whether generated by FarmIntel, produced by our insights and benchmark features, or given to you by an expert on the platform — is provided for information only. It is not veterinary, agronomic, nutritional, financial, legal or medical advice from FamFarm, and it does not create a professional relationship between you and us. Section 29 sets out the specific terms that apply to FarmIntel output.
Do not use it as a substitute for a qualified professional attending your farm. For disease outbreaks, notifiable conditions, medicine dosing, withdrawal periods, chemical application or anything affecting human food safety, consult a licensed professional and follow the law that applies where you farm. Decisions you take remain yours.
Where you have enabled it, an expert may be alerted when mortality on a shared batch passes a threshold. This is a convenience, not a monitoring service. Alerts depend on what you have recorded, on your device syncing, and on the expert choosing to act. We do not guarantee that an alert will be generated, delivered, seen or acted upon, and you must not rely on it as a safeguard for animal health.
FamFarm is designed to work without a network connection. Records you create offline are stored on your device and sent to our servers when a connection returns.
Until a record has synchronised it exists only on your device. We cannot see it, back it up, restore it or include it in a data export. If the device is lost, wiped, replaced, or the app is uninstalled while records are still pending, those records are lost and cannot be recovered by us. Records that have already synchronised are unaffected.
Where the same record is edited on more than one device while offline, the version that reaches our servers last is the one retained. Keeping your device's storage available and reconnecting periodically is your responsibility.
FamFarm calculates figures from what you record, including feed conversion ratios, week-on-week trends, production estimates, benchmark comparisons and land or soil information derived from mapped plots. These are estimates, not measurements or guarantees.
Their accuracy depends entirely on the completeness and accuracy of what you enter. Soil, elevation and weather information is derived from third-party geospatial and meteorological sources for the coordinates you supply, and may be modelled rather than sampled from your specific ground — it is not a substitute for a soil test. Nothing produced by these features is a forecast of yield, income or profit, and it must not be presented to investors, lenders or buyers as one.
Your privacy is important to us. Our collection, use, and protection of your personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated by reference into these Terms. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand our data practices.
We offer both free and paid subscription plans. Paid features may include advanced analytics, expanded storage, or premium support.
All payments are processed securely through third-party payment processors. We do not store your payment information on our servers.
The FamFarm platform, including its software, content, trademarks, and intellectual property, is owned by FamFarm Inc. and protected by intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Services in accordance with these Terms. This license does not grant you any ownership rights.
Any feedback, suggestions, or ideas you provide to us may be used without restriction or compensation.

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services. Your use of third-party services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
While we strive to provide continuous service availability, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access to our Services. We may experience downtime for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time with reasonable notice to users.
OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
Farming and agricultural investments involve inherent risks, including weather, market conditions, disease, and other factors beyond our control. We do not guarantee farm success or investment returns.
While we strive to provide accurate information, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any data, including weather forecasts or market information.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, FAMFARM INC. SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OUR SERVICES.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL DAMAGES EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

We will not be liable for any failure to perform our obligations under these Terms due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, acts of war, terrorism, pandemics, or government actions.

Our Services include FarmIntel, an in-app AI assistant that generates responses to your questions and analyzes content you submit, including photos and voice input.
